Refund Policy

We want Dockside to work for you. If it doesn’t, we’re happy to refund your purchase within the window described below.

This policy applies to paid Dockside Pro purchases. It does not apply to the 14-day free trial. No payment is collected during the trial, so there is nothing to refund. The free tier of Dockside is also not subject to this policy because it is free to use.

Refund Window

You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date for any reason. After the 14-day window, refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis but are not guaranteed.

We reserve the right to deny refund requests in cases of clear fraud or abuse. Examples include repeated purchases and refunds, evidence of license key sharing or redistribution, or use of the refund process to obtain ongoing access without payment.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send us a message. Choose “Billing & subscription” as the topic and “Refund or cancellation request” as the sub-topic. Include your order number in your message so we can locate your purchase quickly.

Refund Processing

We aim to process refund requests within 2-3 business days of receipt. Once processed, the refund will be issued to your original payment method. It will appear on your card or account within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

Refunds are issued only to the original payment method used for the purchase. We do not offer store credit, partial credit toward future purchases, or alternative refund destinations.

License Revocation on Refund

When a refund is issued, the associated Dockside Pro license will be revoked. Pro features will become unavailable on next launch or license validation. The free tier of Dockside remains available on your device.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer instead of requesting a refund through us, we reserve the right to immediately revoke your Dockside license and decline future purchases from your account. Chargebacks impose costs on us regardless of the outcome, and we encourage you to contact us first. Most issues can be resolved more quickly through direct communication than through a dispute process.
